Why is the calculation unavailable?
The Ascendant (rising sign) is the point of the ecliptic that rises above the eastern horizon at the exact minute of your birth. The Earth rotates rapidly: the grid of astrological houses shifts by 1 degree every 4 minutes. Without an exact birth time, it is mathematically impossible to determine which sign was crossing the horizon.
