What is a natal chart?
A natal (birth) chart is a snapshot of the sky at the exact moment you were born: the positions of the Sun, Moon and planets across the zodiac signs and houses. It is the foundation of your personal astrology.
How is AstraBrain different from other natal chart calculators?
Most tools just draw the chart. AstraBrain also interprets it with AI in three distinct tones – ironic (a witty roast), psychologist (gentle depth analysis) and business (career, money and leadership) – so you choose how you want to hear it.
Is the natal chart calculator free?
Yes. Calculating your full birth chart – planets, lunar nodes, Lilith, Chiron, Ascendant, Midheaven, houses, Vertex, Part of Fortune and the major aspects with their orbs – is free. Deeper AI readings, the Book of Life and premium features are optional.
How accurate are the calculations?
We use the Swiss Ephemeris, the same high-precision astronomical data professional astrologers rely on. For an accurate Ascendant and houses you need your exact birth time.
What is the difference between a natal chart and a horoscope?
A daily horoscope covers only your Sun sign – one of twelve. A natal chart is unique to your exact date, time and place of birth and covers every planet, the Ascendant and all houses.
What is synastry and compatibility?
Synastry compares two natal charts to reveal the dynamics between two people in love, friendship or business. You can run it with a partner or with any celebrity.
Can I read a celebrity's chart in the three tones too?
Yes. Open any celebrity natal chart and get the same ironic, psychologist or business interpretation – or run synastry to compare your chart with theirs.
Where do the interpretations come from?
The astronomy is computed with the Swiss Ephemeris – the exact math professional astrologers use. The resulting chart (signs, Ascendant, houses, aspects) is then interpreted by AI. The maths is precise; the tone and wording are AI-generated.
What is a Rodden rating?
It is a standard for how reliable a birth time is. Charts marked AA or A use a recorded, accurate time; without an exact time the Ascendant and houses are approximate (a noon chart).
